How this works

The PDF's first page is rendered at 300dpi. Every pixel's ink density (how dark it is) is used to blend between a fixed gold (#ffcf52, CMYK 0/19/68/0) and the cover colour you pick — solid black ink becomes solid gold, white becomes the cover colour, and everything in between blends smoothly so anti-aliased edges stay clean.

Only single-page PDFs are supported. The output PDF matches the original page size exactly, ready to send to print.
