Page counting guide — Single-sided vs Double-sided
Single-sided (SS): each sheet is printed on one side only, so a 10-sheet job = 10 pages. Use SS when the customer's document has content on one side per sheet.
Double-sided (DS): each sheet is printed on both sides, so a 10-sheet job = 20 pages. DS is the more common binding type for longer documents.
Enter the total page count from the customer's document (e.g. the Word or PDF page count) — this already reflects both sides, so no conversion is needed.
